hey. i’m cameron.

I’m a documentary photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky who loves being at weddings.

My journey with photography has been somewhat of a surprise. When I picked up a camera and started documenting my own family six years ago, I immediately found the experience compelling and moving.

It’s ultimately what led me to start documenting weddings.

Every wedding I document reminds me how incredile this artistic medium is because the gift it gives for my coulpes. The photograph gives us the ability to re-live time, to remember but it also inspires us to continue to live forward. Your wedding has and holds moments that will go on to shape you and give your life meaning and it’s the photograph that bears the essence of that.

This is the experience I want to give my couples.

Because this is beyond just me providing a service – this is about creating a unique collection of photos that tell your story.

I’d love to meet you! Feel free to head over to my contact form.

how I document a wedding.

My whole intention when walking into a wedding day is to be more hands off and to allow you to experience the day with honesty.

I just want you to be you.

My couples don’t want a long list of specific shots or have their wedding turned into a photoshoot. They want a collection of photos from their wedding that authentically reveal how it all felt and how they experienced it.

That can best be achieved when you are given the space to be yourself and when my role becomes that of an observer.

I use various camera formats to document weddings, including 35mm, 120, and polaroid (as well as digital). Shooting on film brings a particular dynamic to the experience that feels congruent with what I want to give my couples which is why I choose to use it in engagement sessions and on wedding days.

do you have wedding collections?

I’ve come to realize that every wedding is different and every couple has different needs. I would love to work with you to create a custom collection that aligns with your vision once we talk about your wedding day.

why do you charge tax on your wedding collections?

As of 1/1/23, all services in the state of Kentucky are required to collect 6% sales tax.

how do we book?

To reserve your date, I simply need a signed contract and 30% retainer. If your wedding requires travel, I will also need the expenses paid at the time of booking to ensure travel costs are as quoted. Unfortunately, I cannot hold any dates without the signed contract, retainer, and any travel fees.

will you travel?

Absolutely! Most of my work is done in Louisville, Kentucky but I love to travel . I have done weddings in Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, and Georgia.

how many images will we receive?

Full galleries are delivered 5-8 weeks from the wedding date. I typically deliver an average 400-800 images, depending on how long I’m at the event.

how will we receive our images?

You’ll receive hi-res images through an online gallery where you can download your photos and use them as you wish. You’ll also have access to a print store directly through that gallery in which you could order your favorites.

do you serve LGBTQIA+ couples?

I do! It’s my continual goal to create an affirming space that celebrates all loving, committed relationships – no matter how they articulate their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

do you shoot on film? does it cost extra if we wanted that?

I do shoot on film! Both 35mm film and 120 medium format film. And this does not cost extra! It’s just part of my creative process on a wedding day.

I’d love to get to know you and
what you’re dreaming up.
